Dear Parents, I'm pleased to inform you that we have now completed the process for appointing Parent Directors to the Blessed Edward Bamber Catholic Multi Academy Trust Board. Mrs Belinda Hodgkins was elected unopposed to bring a perspective of parents who have primary aged children to the Board's work. Mr Jeremy Baugh was elected to bring a perspective of parents who have secondary & Sixth Form aged children.
Parent Director Election Candidates
Following the invitation for nominations for the Parent Director vacancy, I am delighted to say that there has been a good response and there are six candidates for the vacancy. This means we will now hold a ballot.
The candidates for election are:

- Mrs Claire Powell
- Mr Jason Roberts
By now every family should have received their ballot forms through the post, please follow the procedure outlined the in the letter regarding how to vote.
May I remind you that ballot forms need to be in the envelopes provided with the information completed on the larger of the two return envelopes, and that the deadline for ballot forms to be received at St Mary’s is 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday 15 October 2014. If you are not able to bring your ballot form into St Mary’s please return it to:

Parent Director Election
In the newly formed Blessed Edward Bamber Catholic Multi Academy Trust we have provision for two parent directors which are currently both vacant. One of the parent directors must have a child at either Christ the King or St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Academy. The other parent director must have a child at St. Mary’s Catholic Academy. Nominations must be from parents or carers with children at the academy on the day that nominations close. The post is for four years. More information is in the attached letter.
