The post is permanent (possibly involving split shifts – this will be discussed at interview) ideally commencing in December, with this date and working day to be finalised during the interview process. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will be responsible for opening and/or closing the academy each day.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the maintenance and security of the school premises and site, ensuring a safe environment for those that work and learn there.
We believe that this position provides a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised, hard working person to join our site team and play an active part in our school’s improvement journey. The successful applicant will be part of the existing BEBCMAT Premises team. The position will be based at St Cuthbert’s with travel between the other academy sites as directed on occasion but would have strong support from the BEBCMAT Trust Estate Manager (Mr Nick Hurst) who leads a team of site supervisors overseeing the premises management of St Cuthbert’s, Christ the King and St. Mary’s buildings.
Closing date for applications to be received is Monday 7th December 2020 at 12 noon. Please contact the Academy if you would like to meet us before applying. Please use the Support Staff Application form and please also download and complete the accompanying forms also listed below. The post is subject to DBS (formally CRB), Asylum and Immigration and Medical Clearance.
